Aleene’s Tack-It Over & Over glue on unmounted rubber stamps

Friday, September 2nd, 2011

This is a tutorial on a technique I read about on Splitcoaststampers.com. I’ll show you how to use Aleene’s Tack-It Over & Over glue on your rubber stamps, so you can mount them on acrylic blocks. I ordered the Aleene’s TIO&O glue from Joann.com. How long will it last for? 7 months later they are still as sticky as day 1. I did read on the splitcoaststampers forum that others who have tried it, only had to re-do a couple stamps a year. And another lady only had to re-do a few stamps after 5 years. I hope that info helps. I was given some awesome tips from Lisatruck and wanted to share them with you all. Here are her tips. “Aleen’s product will still stick after washing stamp in soapy water and the stick survives repeated baby wipe cleanings. When it stops – I use a bit more Aleens. I even use it on new clear stamps for a good grip.”
