November 7th, 2011

This tutorial shows that cutting out deep etch rubber stamps on 1/8″ cling or standard mounting cushion with a scroll saw is easy to learn. www.stampersbest.com – cling cushion mounting foam is $2.00 each for 9″ x 12″ single sheets. Our ultra fine scroll saw blades make a smooth cut and do not produce many crumbs. Work very closely with confidence. How I Store My Rubber Stamps

October 27th, 2011

I am an illustrator, designer, and rubber stamper, and this is a video to share how I store and organize my rubber stamps. I use a variety of storage and organizational methods. Some stamps are categorized by theme, and some by manufacturer. And sometimes, by theme within a manufacturer. The large containers I use for my Stampin’ Up sets are THICKER Stampendous containers. They are organized by line art style, and theme. I also use Stampendous THIN containers for images I have on cling mount (which isn’t all that many). I keep my Whipper Snapper cling mount sets, which are in CD cases, stored in CD storage boxes, organized by theme. I keep clear sets and unmounted red rubber stamps in 3-ring binders, organized by manufacturer. Because I am a designer for various companies, it’s important for me to keep some company stamps all together (example, High Hopes, Crafty Secrets, Whipper Snapper Designs) In the binders I use various sized page protector sleeves. The 2-pocket 5×7 sleeves, 9-pocket trading card sleeves, and 3-pocket long sleeves are ULTRA-Pro products used for safely storing sports memorabilia. The full-sized sleeves are a heavy duty Avery sleeve. I use heavy duty clear transparency sheets to adhere the unmounted red rubber stamps using Alene’s Tack It Over glue, and inexpensive white cardstock for stability in the pockets. All of these items can be found on Amazon.com Hope this is helpful! Visit my blog for more studio photos and storage ideas! SweetMissDaisy
